• 22 incubators and more than 320 productive families participate in the fourth edition of the productive families exhibition «Sanaati 2018»

    The exhibition of productive families "Sanaati 2018" starts with the participation of more than 22 incubators of productive families, among associations, centers and committees, during the period 9 to 13 December, on Dhahran International Exhibitions Company «Expo»-Dammam Al-Khobar coastal road.

    This Exhibition is under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, and launched this year by Asharqia Chamber as it is targeting more than 320 productive families.

     

    The Chamber had recently completed its first and second phases in preparation for the exhibition and launched its third phase last October, where its started to receive requests of families produced outside the incubators to participate in the exhibition, according to specific criteria such as the quality of the product and that it does not have an outlet for sale or a commercial license.

     

    For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Khalidi, said that the confirmation of 22 incubators of the productive families in the Eastern Province in their participating in the exhibition and the increase in the number of participating families to more than 320 families reflect the continued success of the exhibition over the past three years, and emphasize at the same time the status occupied by the exhibition at all the relevant associations, centers and committees with productive families.

     

    Al Khalidi explained the keenness of Asharqia Chamber to establish the productive families' exhibition "Sanaati" since 2015, which comes within its vision and mission that aimed at stimulating the culture of self-employment among all members of society, developing the spirit of entrepreneurship and initiative, integrating with the incubating societies of productive families, and contributing to the preservation of the local heritage.

    AlKhalidi said that the exhibition will stimulate the productive families in the eastern region to engage in the local market, thus stimulating their role in supporting the national economy to achieve the vision of 2030.

    He pointed out that Asharqia Chamber's belief in the need of productive families, especially in the early stages of moral support through providing them with free places to display their products.

     

    Al Khalidi promised that this year's exhibition will be different from the previous one, as it comes under the approval of the Council of Ministers on the executive regulation of the work of productive families and the transfer of its program and the responsibility of vocational training for women from the Ministry of Labor and Social Development Social Security to the Social Development Bank,

    It provides more employment opportunities and funding for these families and adjust the way they work by making them self-reliant entities, which is the same as what Asharqia Chamber has been striving to achieve since its launching to the annual exhibition of productive families.​
